Breaking barriers with new scholarship
Sleeman Breweries is committed to making sustainable change that breaks down barriers caused by systemic gender biases. We believe that education empowers people to achieve higher levels of success and visibility in the beer industry.
To help break those barriers, we’re investing in the education of students who identify as women, non-binary, transgender, or 2-Spirit.
Sleeman Scholarship
Open to: students who identify as women, non-binary, transgender, or 2-Spirit.
Amount: $2,500.
Number of available scholarships: Two in total. One for English-speaking individuals attending English-language programs or schools and one for French-speaking individuals attending French-language programs or schools.
Criteria: Must be enrolled or enrolling in a STEM or brewing-related program at any accredited Canadian post-secondary institution. Both full-time and part-time students who reside in Canada as their primary home are eligible.
