Sapporo 0.0% that is produced in Canada for sale in the US represents only 0.5% of Sleeman Breweries’ total production in Canada. Sleeman Breweries beer that is sold in Canada is brewed in Canada, with the exception of our 650mL cans of Sapporo Premium, which are imported from Vietnam.

Sleeman Breweries remains committed to sustaining and growing our production and brands in the Canadian market, including the non-alcoholic beer we brew and sell in Canada.

Regarding Certain Media Reports

Sapporo Breweries (Sapporo) continues to view Canada as a highly important market.

There has been no change to our commitment to maintain our brewing operations and business presence in Canada through Sleeman Breweries.

We are aware that certain media reports have created the impression that Sapporo is moving its production from Canada to the United States. Sapporo  clarifies that no such action will be taken.

With respect to production arrangements for Sapporo 0.0% for the U.S. market, we are evaluating a range of options in light of the evolving business environment.
