Noboru brings extensive experience leading growth and change strategies for large organizations and is well positioned to guide Sleeman Breweries into its next chapter.

“Our foundations and company principles are strong,” says Noboru. “Sleeman has incredible untapped potential to grow and I’m excited to be part of its next chapter.” 

Having has spent several years in the United States working with startup companies in Silicon Valley, Noboru then moved on to supporting U.S. healthcare companies through periods of transformation. Noboru joined Sapporo Breweries in 2024 and has been part of the Sleeman Breweries board of directors for the past 20 months. 

“Sapporo’s commitment to growing its international business was very appealing to me,” says Noboru. “I’m looking forward to helping drive Sleeman Breweries’ contributions to that growth.”

Noboru describes his leadership style as one that removes barriers between people, functions and cultures to build one team focused on a common goal.

A graduate of Columbia University in New York, Noboru also holds an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is based at Sleeman Breweries head office in Guelph, Ontario.
