The fund awards $40,000 to eligible Canadian non-profit organizations to advance initiatives that promote water conservation and improve access to clean water.

The Sleeman Better Water Fund focuses on supporting organizations with a national impact, particularly those operating in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec, where Sleeman Breweries has facilities.

The fund reflects our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on:

• Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
• Goal 13: Climate Action
• Goal 15: Life on Land, which contains targets to protect groundwater

Since its launch, the Sleeman Better Water Fund has donated $120,000 to organizations dedicated to improving and protecting Canada's water resources. Previous recipients include Living Lakes Canada, Fondation Rivières, and most recently the One Drop Foundation.

Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply through the application portal, hosted by the Guelph Community Foundation. Applications for 2026 funding will be accepted until October 19, 2026.

The Sleeman Better Water Fund is administered in partnership with the Guelph Community Foundation.
